The challenge
Solar generation was taking off faster than the testing behind it. The Utility major had not yet built out testing on the systems being deployed, and no prior photovoltaic compliance testing existed - leaving compliance, dynamic behaviour and control validation unproven.
What DSAT delivered
An extension of the power quality testing lab to cover photovoltaic compliance and performance before field deployment, with control validation and logging to capture dynamic behaviour and field data.
The result
A complete photovoltaic power quality lab, where the Utility Major can access dynamic system behaviour and complete validation before anything reaches the field.
Outcome
An integrated testing system that resolved the Utility Major’s power quality validation, owned and operated by the customer.
