The challenge
As the enterprise scaled EV production in Saudi Arabia, the vehicles' charging interoperability across diverse EVSE equipment, and its safe response to fault and signal-error conditions, had to be validated systematically, against applicable charging standards, before deployment.
What DSAT delivered
A Chroma ATE EV Charging Compatibility Automated Test System simulating EVSE per charging standards, validating EV charging behavior and communication response, verifying correct response to fault and signal errors, and testing compatibility across multiple EVSE configurations.
The result
A single automated platform that enabled systematic evaluation of EV charging interoperability, identification of communication or compatibility issues, and validation of vehicle performance under both normal and fault conditions.
